Comcast is now offering $10 per month home Internet access to families who qualify for free school lunches. The offer is part of a new program called 'Internet Essentials', which will provide the low-cost Internet in any area where Comcast provides service. Families will be responsible for taxes on the $10 services, but will not have to pay fees for activation or equipment rentals. Families can also recieve a laptop computer for $150 plus tax when they sign upand are eligible to receive free Internet training. The computer comes equipped with parental controls to protect children online. In order to be eligible, families must not have subscribrd to Comcast Internet service within the previous 90 days, and must not have an overdue Comcast bill or unreturned equipment. To apply, call

Koogler Middle School's Library will have PowerSchool parent portal access codes available for parents to pick up, in person. This access code will allow you to view your student’s grades and attendance information via the internet. These access codes will need to be picked up, in person, from the librarian (Round 300 Bldg) or the KMS Technology Aide. Library office Hours are from 8:00 am – 3:45 pm Tuesdays -Thursdays and Mondays 8:00 am – 2:15 pm. Dear Parents/Guardians:

            ZAP Alert Day Every Monday : (Zeroes Are not Permitted) Any Student with a Zero will be referred to the KMS Administration or required to attend a ZAP CLASS.  Penalties can be: (Not Allowed at School Dances) Before School, After School, or Lunch Detention to give the student time to make up the homework. The Student may be subject to ISS, or referral to the Hearing Authority for nonproductivity.  Three Administrators (7:15 AM) and ten Teachers (7:45 AM) volunteer in the mornings to help students with homework so please take advantage of this opportunity before you get ZAPed or post a failing grade.  

 
Next Koogler Dance  Jan. 27th from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM if campus grades stay up we will have this dance.  Students who have been ZAPed on TBA are not allowed at the dance or students who have recieved an office referral are not allowed at the dance.
Good behavior-Passing Grades (No Zeroes (0) and no F's)= You can go to the Dance :)

Koogler Middle School is under construction, please be careful when dropping off and picking up students. The office is now located in the 500 building, (Please do not park inside the fence near or around the 500 building)easiest access will be gained by turning west on Lydia Rippey (Please park outside the fence), or park in the parking lot due East of the Round building. Please enter the  500 building through the north doors, just follow the signs to find the temporay offices.  

KMS will be under construction for twenty one months.
