Koogler Middle School Counseling Department

<

Through the counseling department students will have the opportunity to learn coping skills to deal with such issues as bullying, anger management, improving social skills, improving studying skills, career exploratory, high school preparation, and conflict mediation techniques. Along with these duties the counseling department assists the administration in their creation of the master schedule for KMS. Our counseling department helps students who request schedule changes.

All classroom presentations occur during study periods and do not interfere with the students’ academic performance. In addition to the classroom presentations, Mr. Krinke is available to see students upon request in individual or group counseling sessions.  He will be working with students to develop strategies for dealing with; grief, peer conflict issues, divorce and separation issues, academic, and self esteem issues. Mr. Krinke will  be working to create a positive school atmosphere.
