NMSBA Scholarship

Aztec Municipal School District is proud to announce that Aralyn Goldsmith, a graduating senior from Aztec High School, has been named one of the 2025 New Mexico School Boards Association (NMSBA) Scholarship Recipients.

Aralyn was selected from among students across Region I and is one of just 24 students statewide to receive this prestigious honor. The NMSBA scholarship recognizes students who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, academic success, community involvement, and participation in extracurricular activities throughout their high school career.

Each school district was invited to nominate one graduating senior, and recipients were chosen by their region’s selection committee. Aralyn will receive a $1,000 scholarship to support her continued educational journey—funds which can be used toward tuition, books, or other school-related expenses.

The award was presented during the 2025 NMSBA School Law Conference held June 5–7 in Albuquerque, where education leaders gathered to discuss key topics including school safety, new legislation, and student wellbeing.

Congratulations, Aralyn! We are so proud of you and can’t wait to see all the great things your future holds.
