Hello Students and Families,

Due a recent uptick in Covid Positive Cases in the 6th grade, Koogler Administration in cooperation with Aztec Municipal School District Central Office has made the decision to have our 6th Graders learn online for the remainder of this week.

This will be for 6th grade only for Tuesday 10/5, Wednesday 10/6, Thursday 10/7 and Friday 10/8.

6th Graders will not come to campus for the week. They will return to campus on Monday 10/11/21. While learning remotely all 6th graders should get into every Google classroom at the start of the class hour for a zoom meeting, then be sure to complete all online assignments that are posted in the stream and classwork for the day. Please follow the regular bell schedule, linked here: https://5il.co/zy0j

7th and 8th graders should still be coming to school in person unless you have been notified you are on quarantine.

Any student athletes who are not on quarantine may come to athletic practices and events as scheduled. However, those who have been called and told they were on quarantine should remain at home until their quarantine is complete. For questions about quarantine dates please contact the nurse.

Impacted areas at C.V. Koogler have been cleaned, disinfected, and sanitized.

Please remind your student to log in to their classes, attend zoom meetings so they are not marked absent, complete assignments, and be in contact with their teachers. Any student missing Google Classroom Codes can find them by logging in to PowerSchool and clicking on My Schedule.

We apologize for the inconvenience and frustration that this has caused. We hope you are well, are look forward to seeing you in our online meetings and back on campus on 10/11/21.
